Welcome to the stories of Becca's summer in Israel! The Main Page serves as a traditional "blog," with stories and pictures from my adventures. Posts labeled as "Class Notes" are summaries of the things I'm learning at the Hebrew University. "Program Details" gives further explanation about the Study Abroad programs I am completing. Notes from my experiences with peace groups and observations of women's experiences will be provided on the "Field Notes" page. "The Yakhad" is the text of a paper I wrote about the Essene community made famous by the Dead Sea Scrolls. An essay on developmental issues in Israel will be written on the "Issues in Development" page. Hope you enjoy!
Not mine. Megan. A fun incident. The weekend has been exciting. And we have papers due this week...more information to come tomorrow morning. All is well, though.
Ha. Depends on what considers commonplace, I suppose. She was trying to jump on someone's back for a piggyback ride. He squatted down to let her up and she jumped too far. Ended up leapfrogging over him and landed on her head on the concrete. It was an utterly spectacular fall.
How did Megan sustain the concussion ? It must have been something prosaic, or I'm sure you would have expanded on it. Uncle Al
